In Southwest Austin, you’ve got a mix of both. Shady Hollow, for example, has an HOA, but it’s pretty relaxed you can feel that just driving through the neighborhood. On the flip side, parts of Circle C like Park West and the Golf Estates can be much more restrictive. If the HOA is picking your paint colors, that’s probably not your vibe.
